About Michael

Mike Dreiblatt is the co-founder of Balance Educational Services, LLC, and an outstanding national speaker. Mike provides dynamic, practical seminars and workshops to whole school communities: students, school staff, administrators, parents and community members. Engaging attendees. Mike teaches best practices and realistic strategies that can be used immediately. In his most popular presentation, How to Stop Bullying and Social Aggression, Mike shows how to replace bullying and other misconduct with pro-social actions.

Mike is an expert in bullying and violence prevention, creating healthy relationships, effective communication styles, and discipline of students with special needs. He is an authority in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA 2004) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, offering easy to understand seminars to teachers and administrators.

A former teacher, Mike taught for 16 years in New York City and Vermont. He is the past Director of Education for Israel Congregation of Manchester, VT and the former Network Coordinator of the Vermont School Age Care Network. Michael is also an experienced grant writer and trained mediator. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Michael lives in Vermont with his wife Karen, their two sons, and their dog and cat.
